I am a Buddhist, body-oriented, psychotherapist and teacher. My life and career is deeply connected with the natural world. I worked as a wildlife biologist, backcountry ranger, and wilderness guide for 20 years. I have been practicing Buddhism since 1978. Even though I love a good time – to dance, do improvisational theater, laugh, be silly, etc., I love a contemplative space. I love a beautiful and clean environment where there is quiet. Elk Meadow Sanctuary is where my heart lives. It is where I find the quiet to deepen into my spiritual practices and find my creativity. The energy and stunning beauty of the land and my home never cease to nourish me and bring me inspiration. The studio is magical.
